La Guinguette - Black Mountain

I enjoyed my lunch. I have an imperial and a tamale with mixed greensalat. we sat on the sun terrace, which was cozy at a breezy day.

We ordered the takeover in the time of covid. the tamales were delicious, mol sauce very good. will definitely visit if we can stay in this charming restaurant.

Finding a good, authentic tamale was so far an almost impossible search for me! I enjoyed a vegan tamale and a vegetarian tamale, both delicious. my man had two veggie empanadas and enjoyed them too. the restaurant is located on the main roads of the black mountain in a funky looking house. do not let them be set off from the outside. sellige and cozy inside with wonderful service. we will visit here again and again. the menu is French and latin inspired, so if you enjoy crepes, I am sure they are also delicious.

Happy Cow won’t let me give 5 stars because it isn’t 100 Veg, but this place is very accommodating to the VEGAN lifestyle. I’m here in the Winter. The outside patio is closed so there are only 6 8 table available. The outside looks sketchy, but inside is friendly and cozy. The food and service are fabulous. My partner is having mushroom tamales and I’m having vegan French onion soup. The flavors are authentic Argentinian and freshly made in house. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the service.
