The pub has good eating and is kinder and dog friendly so ideal for us, chris is a regular as he plays squash close and comes for a shandy after his play with his cumpels.

They always receive a warm welcome from all the staff, and the restaurant is dog-friendly. The food is excellent, and there's a log-burning stove that provides real comfort on cold winter nights. They also have a lovely beer garden, perfect for enjoying when the sun finally shines on those warm first days of spring.

I visited on January 2nd as a final treat before returning to work after the Christmas break. We booked a table for eight, and everything was perfectly arranged when we arrived—what a nice touch! The food was outstanding, with the Bury black pudding being a particular highlight. We found the prices to be very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the cozy atmosphere. The beer was great as well. We will definitely return and highly recommend that you give it a try!
