Berrys - Blaenau Gwent

Called en route to the local theatre group's latest performance. Our first visit to this street corner restaurant, we were quite surprised to find it quite full, but then remembered it was Valentines Day. We ordered two meals which arrived in a reasonable time and were very generous servings; a huge gammon steak with chips, egg and a masive slice of fresh pineapple, and a bowl of pasta. This was complemented by a lovely latte. The final bill for two was comparable favourably to a fast food outlet, but the fare much tastier. The staff were friendly and welcoming . A little out of the way but I would certainly revisit.

I was in search of a place similar to a popular chain restaurant, but without all the negative aspects, and a friend recommended this spot. The fish and chips I had were exceptional, with a perfectly light and crisp batter. I ended up staying for five pints and found the beer to be just as enjoyable. Overall, a great dining experience.

Have visited here several times when visiting my daughter have never been disappointed the food is well presented and plenty of it at a very good price, lovely to see a local family business thriving in a small valleys town keep up the good work will be back again soon

This was our first visit to this restaurant bit of a struggle to find but when we phoned a lovely lady stood out front and guided us there.A very well presented pub staff were so kind and welcoming the manager was kind and friendly explaining the menu nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them . Thankyou all so much for making our experience a fantastic one we have got our eye on the picnic benches

We went to this restaurant to celebrate our daughter's 17th birthday, so we decided to sit at a picnic bench. The experience was delightful and we were happy to see they had options for vegetarians. However, we felt that there were too many desserts offered and would have liked to see more savory dishes on the menu. The service was fantastic, the staff were polite and very friendly.
