Alaska Heritage House

We stayed 2 nights here were very glad we chose this hotel. This heritage house is beautifully maintained, decorated, furnished. It is like stepping back in time. The location is within easy walking distance of downtown. And Margot serves a wonderful breakfast, her enthusiasm and cheerfulness genuinely add to the experience.

This B&B exceeded my expectations. There is so much history in the house and they did their absolute best to keep it. Walking through the house and being thrown back to the previous century is an attraction on its own! Drinks and snacks are provided for the guests, besides the breakfast, which is a huge plus. Our host, Margo, is also a true sweetheart, so thank you!

We stayed here at the end of a 3 week adventure all over Alaska, and it was a surprising jewel of a place. This house is unique, ornate, quirky, and beautiful. The host Margot was one of our favorite people on the entire trip, we still talk about her and the house. We want to return to Fairbanks just to return to the Heritage house :

This is a Heritage house maintained in the same way originally built in the 1920s It's immaculately decorated with hand drawn wall paper, period furniture, a radio and original stove in the kitchen. It's something to experience. And Margot and Jill are simply put angels, always helpful, above and beyond the call of duty. Will I come back, of course. Best place to stay in Fairbanks.

Perfect bed and breakfast experience. The house is beautifly restored and kept very clean. The owners are very nice and responded to texts quickly. A must stay for history/antiquing enthusiasts or just anyone wanting something different from a bland hotel
