Taco King - Bldg Fort Wainwright

Taco King is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town by far. And I recently learned they're also fabulous caterers. They catered my wedding, and were extremely accommodating, provided excellent service, and plentiful, delicious food, on time, with no issues. Given all that, it's hard to believe they're also one of the most affordable catering options in Fairbanks. Absolutely recommend!

We went through the drive through. No menu. We used the menu from their website to order. My wife had a small chicken burrito. She said it was okay. My father in law had a ground beef taco and I had a taco salad with ground beef. We both got really sick. Throwing up sick. I think hard pass. I would never eat there again. -1 star if possible.

Great tasting, reasonably-priced food with generous portions. We ate there twice during our Fairbanks visit. The interior is decorated nicely, too. The servers were all nice.

The people who work here seemed very nice, but please just skip this place. The food was awful. The tortillas were hard and dry. The meat had no taste and was over cooked. The chips were over cooked as well. The salsa. The restaurant itself was dirty, and to be honest smelt.

Never ate there and never will. one of my Soldier ate a Taco and came up to me saying they thing they're gonna die after finding a piece of metal in one of their taco.
