Chinese Garden Restaurant - Blind Bay

Went with the family. They think it's really good. However, it is just mediocre. I'm sure for the area that it is probably good. The restaurant itself is quite small. But again for the neighborhood it probably serves them well. The combinations need more variety everything comes with chow mein instead of rice. I think only 2 of the combos come with rice. The food was hot when served but we were pretty much neglected by the server. When you're the only game in town I guess you can be that way.

Very average. Beef & Broccoli definitely below average, with fishy flavor. Yan's is a fair trip to make from Blind Bay, but well worth the effort. They need a better cook and sauces at the Garden. War wanton soup has very little flavor.

The waitress told me what fresh veggies they had that day so I had green beans with beef in black bean. Delicious. Also had the Buddha Feast and szechuan chicken. Very happy with the food.
