Golden Crown - Bloomfield Hills

Not sure that the previous reviews of the sections are small as we found the sections more than generous. Enough for us to be left to the two ducks we had ordered. And everything we ordered was really delicious. It's American Chinese food, but that's what we were after and it was really good. Everything was served extremely hot and our waitress was very attentive and accommodating, she was a treasure. I will agree with the Lord on the Hostess/Cashier stand, does not seem to be friendly or social, as he has not recognized our existence, but I had no need to interact with him, so it was no consequence to me. We're coming back!

I was greeted joyfully and immediately shown on a table. My server was very nice. I ordered #19 Honey Spicy Chicken combination. The sauce was delicious and also the egg roll. The chicken was deep fried nice, but it was very chewing and a bit hard. Overall, ok experience maybe next time I will try something else.

Not only was I missing a $6 item from my delivery order I was presented with this for General Tso's. 80% liquid and grilled chicken. Looked disgusting so I didn't even try it and threw it out.

I wish I would have paid more attention to the reviews before I went here. The food is horrible, no flavor at all. The sweet and sour shrimp had 4 pieces of shrimp and nothing else except for a big pile of rice. The service is terrible, I had to bang on my glass with my fork just to get more water and there was only 2 tables of people in there. She sits way in the back after she brings the food. No fortune cookie or soup. I guess you can either get an egg roll or soup but she never asked me which one I wanted.

Food was horrible, greasy served on dirty dishes. The REALLY REALLY SHORT older gentleman running the counter. Whom I assume is the owner Is extremely rude to his staff guest. This guy really has a temper problem. All He does is Yell really ridiculous. I never write bad reviews but I'll never eat here again. This place is also dark and dirty. Food taste like greasy Microwave food.
