Zalman's On Woodward - Bloomfield Hills

The food was amazing. Service needs improvement. The Alexis server was not focused on the service. She was often distracted and spoke to other employees why our drinks were empty. I think you have a great menu; but the staff needed better training or management had to do a better job in supervision.

Always a great lunch here. Love the pastries! Our server said that this year they will start the Mother’s Day Bummelbuffet again, we cannot wait!

Unfortunately, our waitress reached unnecessarily people. she rarely smiled.. we had small and one of their pancake meals was late to reach the table. You never filled coffee again or the hot water for the tea. We eat there several times and everything was amazing. not sure what happened today.

Make sure their prices change. I ordered a cake from the bakery part of the restaurant for my reservation. Were quoted $30 website said $30- when I received my entrance when I was charged for my reservation a few days later I was charged $35. I thought it was a cutting fee (they did not cut the cake, we did) no writing on cake (that is a fee) I asked. I was told, “We changed our prices”. So they can change their price fee more after you were quoted $30. Terrible customer service at the end.

Reservation for a party of 6 was seated immediately. The friendly waite staff was attentive helpful. We chatted for quite awhile after our meal we were not bothered. Thank you!
