Bidra med feedbackI've been blessed to visit Italy twice in the past year and Da Vinci's Pizza is the most authentic Italian pizza I've had in Bloomington (and possibly the US). I highly recommend the pizza and the calzone was good (I tried some of my daughter's). The pistachio cake had a gentle, pleasant flavor and my husband's dessert (pictured Tartufo) was very good. The Italian wine I had was a buoyant, mild red compared to a Chianti Classico. I like red wine, but I typically prefer a Muscato, and this was a nice glass of wine.
Da Vinci is a nice option for Italian in Bloomington. The bruschetta has a good amount of toppings and the bread is toasted well. The caeser salad has a lot of dressing which I enjoyed and the croutons on it are great too. We had a create your own pizza with fior di latte cheese, tomato, and basil. The pizza was cooked well and tasted good. The “mozzarella” cheese that they have is all vegan so it is a good option for someone who follows that diet. The service is good as well. They also have a nice menu of pastas available.
Really enjoyed this Italian restaurant that our daughter recommended. Their ambience, service and the internal decor featuring art reproduction of Vinci's artworks.
Pretty good wood fired pizza here. This is not my favorite style of pizza but they had a good amount of toppings but not quite enough cheese for me. I would come back.
We were seated promptly on a Friday evening and our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Our appetizer was the bruschetta which was delicious! I had the seafood ravioli with pesto cream sauce my husband had the veggie pizza. Pizza shown is what our son-in-law ordered. We shared a New York cannoli cheesecake triple chocolate mouse which were light and scrumptious! If you’re visiting the IU campus/Bloomington, give DaVinci’s a try!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian, vegan, and pescatarian options
