A few years ago, my friends and I rented a place in Bovina and decided to get some ribeyes from Sal's to grill. They were hands down the best ribeyes any of us have ever had. Even now, we still reminisce about that trip and those incredible steaks. I'm writing this review years later because it left such a lasting impression. I truly hope this place remains in business. Whatever they’re doing, they’re doing it right!

My wife and I visited Sal's today on the recommendation of her sister, and we were so glad we did! It was definitely worth the drive from Roxbury. These are the best subs we've had in a long time!

Without a doubt, this is the best spot for a sandwich in Delaware County.

Sal's is a classic butcher shop where you can find excellent cuts of beef, pork, and more. If you're looking for something specific that isn't available, just ask Sal, and he'll assist you. I appreciate his straightforward, down-to-earth attitude—he's truly a cool guy. Without a doubt, he makes the best beef sandwich I've ever had! The bun perfectly holds the thinly sliced, impeccably seasoned roast beef, along with sauces, tomatoes, pickles, lettuce, and other toppings. I always order it fully loaded! My friend and I always plan to split one and save the rest for later, but we inevitably end up devouring an entire sandwich each in one sitting!

I had a great experience at this butcher shop. The way they prepared my pig was impressive. I picked up half today, and the rest is going to be smoked. Sal is an excellent butcher to work with.
