El Sarape Mexican Cuisine And Tequila

I've been eating here for years. They changed places and even improved their food and menu. They are filled chilean Lake Bass is great and the grilled Oktopus appetizer is amazing. You have a variety of really good drinks and I never had a bad experience in this facility.

This was the first date night for my fiancée and me since we just moved to the neighborhood a week ago, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Nancy was our server, and she was incredibly patient, recommending a drink that complemented my duck dish (Chuleta) perfectly. The flan was also delicious! We'll definitely be coming back.

I enjoyed a smoked Oaxaca Margarita, a tuna appetizer, and mixed seafood enchiladas on a weeknight. The outdoor table service was excellent, and the food was a nice take on upscale Mexican cuisine. However, while the drinks were trendy, they felt a bit overpriced, especially with the large smoked ice cubes taking up most of the glass.

Restaurant was clean and inviting. A ?jazz band? plays there every Thursday starting at 6pm. Staff was helpful and friendly. Decided to try their Watermelon Margarita. Not the best Margarita but it was good. Ordered nachos with chicken. Plenty of food but a bit on the dry side. The fajita quesadilla was tasty. Wouldn?t mind coming back to try dinner entrees.

We were able to get a table right away without reservations at the start of the dinner rush. The restaurant features a rustic decor that is subtle yet perfectly complements the cuisine, giving you a clear idea of what to expect. After living in Arizona for four years, I've developed a bit of a discerning taste for Mexican food and have found it challenging to find places that do it justice. El Sarape exceeds those expectations. I had the fish tacos, which had a perfect balance of toppings that added texture and enhanced the fish without overpowering the flavors. They came with a chipotle mayo and a Taquero sauce, both of which provided plenty of flavor and a hint of heat without overwhelming my taste buds. If you enjoy Mexican food and haven't been here yet, make sure to give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
