Thai Orchid - BLUE BELL

I would highly recommend this restaurant. My family has been dining here for years and we absolutely love it. It is one of our favorite restaurants overall, not just among Thai places. The food is excellent, and the interior decorations and overall atmosphere are fantastic, especially during the holidays. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5.

Unfortunately, our Pineapple fried rice was overcooked and should not have been served. The See-ew lacked flavor and tasted like oily noodles. However, the Drunken Noodles were enjoyable, and the Pad Thai noodles were excellent - moist and tasty. I will not be returning to Thai Orchard due to the burnt rice being served. It is clear that the chef does not prioritize serving high-quality dishes if they are willing to serve burnt food.

I recently visited this restaurant for a business lunch and was extremely impressed with the service. We arrived on a Friday during their lunch rush, with most of the tables already occupied by the time we got there around 12-12:30. As a result, our food took a little longer to arrive. While most of my table received their entrees and soups at the same time, there were a few individuals who had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for their meals. I ordered a lunch special which included an entree, salad, and the option of soup or dumplings. The vegetable tofu soup may appear simple, but it was actually quite delicious. The perfect balance of fresh ginger added a nice contrast to its light, salty flavor. The salad was also very tasty, and I thoroughly enjoyed my spicy drunken noodles which had just the right amount of spice (not for the faint of heart, though). The service was attentive and quick to accommodate any requests we had.

This week, I decided to try takeout from Thai Orchid on a whim. The food was absolutely delicious! It was some of the best Thai cuisine I've had in a while. My order arrived promptly and was bursting with amazing flavors. I highly recommend ordering from here! Overall, I give the food a 5-star rating.
