Blue Smoke Barbeque - Blue Ridge

It’s was early afternoon and lookin for a good place to grab lunch. Staff was prompt and super sweet to us with our 19 month old little girl. Food was great Smoked wings then flash fried A+. Pulled pork A+. Wedge Salad A+. To top it off the also sell King Of Pops! That Alabama White Sauce was ridiculously awesome ... So Go Eat and be merry here.

This was our best meal in town for our weekend getaway. I had the tri tip platter. The tri tip was amazing cooked perfectly and also the bbq pork had such a nice flavor. I love the Alabama White Sauce. I have not tried other BBQ places in town but this one will be hard to beat!!! Highly recommend!!!

Very small, a bit of a hole in the wall somehow space. I didn't order the mill for a barbecue. I had a smoked chicken salad sandwich and can tell you it was very good. Smoked chicken, with celery, apple not safe, all with salad tomatoes on Texas toast. The others in my party tried, smoked turkey, collar, potato salad, Brunswick stew, everything was good. Something to order, this part was slow, but the food came pretty fast.

The staff was very friendly, even if they were a bit French in their demeanor. They did their best to manage a tough situation, as there were several hiccups due to management and delivery issues. We were informed that the delivery van didn’t arrive, which severely limited our food options. On top of that, the kitchen didn’t receive our order because the computer malfunctioned, resulting in a longer wait. They didn’t realize the order hadn’t been processed until much later, at which point they took it to the kitchen again. There were also misunderstandings regarding our order, and a sandwich ended up being forgotten, but the staff was really kind and gave it to us on the house. Everyone has an off day now and then, and they handled it well. I appreciate their efforts and, of course, the brisket!

Wow! I had lunch there for the first time, and I must say, I am really impressed! The pulled pork was phenomenal, the homemade mac and cheese was delicious, and even the potato salad was fantastic. As for the portion sizes? You definitely won't be disappointed with the Blue Smoke Platter! I highly recommend visiting this place. It's a small venue, but very cozy. Plus, they serve beer, which is an added bonus!
