Boat Dock Grill - Blue Ridge

I had a grouper I thought was excellent. My only complaint was the menu says you get 5 big pieces, and what I received as one of my 5 pieces was a sliver of fish smaller than a chicken smugget. I'd recommend it if you come here and groupers. My wife got the buffalo chicken pack that wasn't good at all. The chicken was served cold and tasted like much liquid smoke. She ate two bites and left the rest. The location, atmosphere and theme has a lot of potential, the food performance needs just a few tweets and this place could be really great.

Absolutely the best staff ever. The kitchen is small but you can see the staff working hard and fast. Everyone is extremely pleasant. Very fun upbeat environment. Must admit I am there six days a week. Love love love This Sunny Spot for Shady People.

Outside seating, typical American Bar Grill food. Not an extensive menu but the smoked chicken sand was very flavorful. Atmosphere was Boat Dock feel, after fishing feel, exactly as advertised. Kyla, our server, was great. Beer was cold. Enjoyed my visit.

Nice view, cool little bar in the lake. If you want to grab a drink outside, a good apot. Grouper fingers were not very good and fries were not hot or crisp. I wouldn't bother going back.

Table service was outstanding! Food was delicious! We got fried pickles (chips) with spicy ranch dip and they were the best I've ever had! They are a must order! Skip the chips and salsa they appear store bought and were just ok. I ordered a **** Mary and it was really made well and strong, also adorned with bacon, lime, lemon, olives, salt/pepper on the rim and celery. I would definitely order again for sure! We were so full from the appetizers but the pulled pork sandwich and fries were also delicious. I look forward to returning next time I'm in Blue Ridge. It was a rainy day but they have umbrellas and enough seating in all weather with great views of the marina and Blue Ridge Lake. A gorgeous day!
