Pink Elephant - Boca Grande

The food was good but for their prices I expected more in house sauces and such like .. anyone can grill a salmon and do a butter sauce with it, salmon isn't particularly hard to prepare. Nothing really stood out on the taste. My husband enjoyed his fish and chips, we both loved the French onion soup. It wasn't at all bad it just felt like something was amiss. Lastly the atmosphere was horrid with overcrowding of large parties. One was standing around waiting for a table by the bar for over an hour, had clearly drank too much (and still being served drinks) and was loudly talking so much it was at times difficult to hear my husband. I recognize that when customers have deep pockets you have to tread lightly on how much you control the experience but it definitely crosses a line at some point where it negatively impacts the experience of others dining.

Love the ambiance and lunch was delicious. We loved the little pink elephants that they put on the drinks!

Had the pleasure of being served by heather ! She was absolutely amazing my family has been coming to this restaurant for the past 13 years, and today was the best experience we had and it was all thanks to this wonderful waitress, she engaged in genuine conversation with us and her other tables and was so kind and above and beyond with her service, I will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know in the area and will certainly ask for heather next time, the food was immaculate, and the atmosphere is a staple of the boca grande community.

Fun restaurant on the island. It’s family friendly and was no problem for the kids. The gnocchi bolognese was 10/10.

Great service, meal and drinks. Had a drink at bar, very cozy. Sat outside on very nice 70 degree Florida day. Will definitely be back.
