The Chapel At The Bodmin Jail

Food does not correspond to expectations. fish dish had much too much sauce, over salted and too rich. the starters were better than the net.

I took my husband to this restaurant for his 60th birthday. My husband and I had a fabulous meal. The staff were very friendly and polite. The food was excellent and very tasty. The ligh5 show and music were very fitting for the Chapel. We took our time and were not rushed as we wanted to enjoy the whole experience. We loved our cocktails in the cocktail bar before being taken to the restaurant. Would highly recommend this, especially for a special occasion.

From the champagne and gin bar before going to the restaurant to the restaurant itself absolutely world class. I have an onion allergy and they catered for this above and beyond. 100% would return within a heartbeat !!!

The restaurant is okay but the food is not as fine dining as they would like you to believe. Looks the part but dry as reheated, and underseasoned.

Great service, delicious food presented elegantly as would be expected in a fine dining restaurant. Complemented with good choice of wines.
