The Courtyard - Bodmin

The service and ambiance were excellent, creating a relaxed atmosphere. We started with the celeriac soup, which was quite tasty. For our main courses, we had a pizza and beef stew—both were average. However, the sticky toffee pudding and cream roulade for dessert were absolutely delightful. The 20% local discount is a nice perk as well.

The atmosphere was unpleasant, and the staff seemed unfriendly and stressed. The place felt disorganized, and the layout was poor, with people constantly walking through the restaurant since it connects the hotel to the prison area. The food was lacking in flavor and unexciting. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place, and I won’t be dining here again.

The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance that really draws you in. The staff is excellent—friendly and attentive. During our visit, we enjoyed more than just tapas. The menu offered a nice variety, and both dishes we selected were outstanding, just like the desserts we shared.

It was busy being New Years Eve however the service was excellent. We had a selection of tapas dishes which were all of a very high quality. Have already booked to dine here again
