Platzhirsch - Böblingen

Found a perfect sunny day to hang out on the patio.The staff was friendly and helpful, giving great advice on what to order and what goes well with what.The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered the steak strips with fried potatoes and I loved every bite.For dessert, I had the hot raspberries with ice cream and it went perfect with the meal.Will definitely make this a regular meal!

The service team at Platzhirsch is first rate. Tonya and Gabi are friendly and professional--treating guests as family. The bartender was kept constantly busy, but not so busy she didn't provide friendly conversation to the guests. The meals are exceptional. This is a place you can bring out of town guests and feel confident that the experience will exceed expectations. There is plenty of parking if you come into the area from the rear of the property and walk through the brewery parking lot to the 'tor' onto the main street. The walk is fewer than five minutes. I started with the pumpkin cream soup (excellent) and enjoyed the Ganzekeule (goose leg) in preparation for Saint Martin's Day and the season of Goose meals in Germany. One caution...plan ahead and make a reservation. The locals have made this a favorite place to eat. The management is exceptional.

Love this establishment, the food was devine, the ambiance was delightful and the staff was very friendly.

Had a very nice business dinner here with colleagues who came in from out of town. Service was also very good.

Classic German Beer hall, The Beer is very good, look for the seasonal offerings. Have the BIG pretzel with butter, soups are very very good, had a few meals here and all were well prepared
