La Cascada - Boerne

I went for brunch on Father's Day and was very disappointed. It was not as good as last year, with fewer options and no shrimp available. The menu choices seemed random and did not go well together. The biscuits were hard and the scrambled eggs were cold. For the price, I expected more creativity in the dishes.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding and prompt. We tried the chicken fried steak and it was incredibly tender and flavorful. The whipped potatoes and macaroni and cheese were also amazing. I would definitely return to this restaurant. It is kid-friendly with an outdoor play area. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. The price per person was between $20-30 for dinner.

We had a great time at the new restaurant and bar areas at Tapatio Springs resort. We visited in 2016 before the fire, and were impressed with the all-new clubhouse offering fantastic views of the golf course and hills. The bartender and waitress were both incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food and drinks were delicious. The updated facility was a nice touch, and we can't wait to go back. Our overall rating for the service was 5, the atmosphere was 5, and we recommend trying the Pecan Creek Old Fashioned. Breakfast prices per person range from $20 to $30.
