The Griddle - Boise

Huge thanks to jp for the portion of my family and I myself closed kitchen 5-10 minutes before our arrival. its customer service is excellent. he wasn't mad at all that we came too late, but he served us with a kind attitude! we were driving all day and were super hungry. eating was not disappointed.

The first time here today. my son chose it by google. what a great choice! our server was friendly and welcoming, and the chicken avocado lunch wrap was amazing! my son said that his burger was perfectly cooked, and the deep fried mushroom ate was to die! (let them cool a minute, lol). we're safe back.

This is a nice place to chill for lunch. It’s more of a bar than restaurant but that doesn’t mean the food isn’t good. Friendly and patient staff. Specialty Drinks are a bit pricey but it’s Boise and everything is expensive nowadays. They also have patio space if you want to eat outside with family and kids. My buddy introduced us to this place and we are definitely returning. Thumbs up!

This is one of our favorite places to go. Great drinks, great service everytime, and a great vibe. Thankful we live so close. Michelle and the front of house are the best around. Support local and give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

We have been to Refuge at least a dozen times if not more over the last 2 years so this review is long over due. First, the overall look and feel is very “Neighborhood Bar meets small family restaurant”. It is a wonderful combination and location is in a very nice area off Park Center . They also have a lovely small patio in front. Second, the food is awesome and they have many selections to satisfy both adults and children. I have never had a bad there. Third, and most important is the outstanding service. They are a busy place on Saturday nights and still manage to provide fast and friendly service with a smile. P.s. Thank you JP for serving us last night I had a very emotional and rough week and our time spent there last night with you as our server really lifted my spirits. Also, grateful you ran down our car as we drove away without my purse!
