Viictoria Centre Cafe - Bolsover

We order breakfast sandwiches from this place every Saturday morning. The food is delicious, and they even deliver it to the shop for us. Excellent service and tasty food.

This restaurant is terrible. The owner lacks any customer service skills. We were informed in a rude manner that cold drinks were not included with our breakfast, which was expected. Additionally, we never received the coffees that were supposed to come with our breakfast. The beans on toast we ordered were overpriced at nearly 3.00, but we received only one slice of toast and a very small portion of beans.

I absolutely adore their cooked breakfasts, especially the generous portions. Whenever I crave a hearty breakfast, this is my go-to spot. The coffee is also delightful. I often find myself tempted to curl up on one of the beds and take a nap afterwards, haha.

Four of us went for lunch. The food was terrible. I had sausage and mash with the lumpiest mashed potatoes I have ever had the misfortune to eat. The watery mushy peas were thrown on top of the sausage with undercooked fried onion on top of that. The waitress was rude and abrupt when asked anything she replied with a glare she was too busy. This cafe has the distinction of being one of the worst places I have eaten. I eat there on Saturday 8th March 2014
