Roba nostra has selected all winter the best local charcuterie breeders and producers along with rare wine growers. So, for either lunch or dinner you will enjoy porcu nostrale (corsican patta negra pork), the so-called assiette Roba Nostra for two will allow you to enjoy the best coldcuts, ham, saussage, coppa and lonzo. The 4 variety of cheeses are to die for. Corinne will help you know the best of her choices in the wine matter, white or red, she proposes an interesting sélection. Don't miss it at all and if you have a little more time, choose from the liquors, the jams and jelly she offers in her restaurant. At the top!
For three weeks we've been eating in "regular" restaurants with full menus through Malta, Gozo, Sicily and Sardinia. What a joy to dine in the absolutely intimate Roba Nostra. Don't look for soups or salads, and no fish or desserts. Just feast on the very finest quality and vast selection of Corsican salamis and cheeses and drink the delicious modestly priced Corsican wines. The host could not have been more welcoming, charming, and informative. My bad French and his somewhat better English made for a fun evening. Coming up on our 48th Wedding Anniversary, we felt like we were on an intimate date in this small cavelike place. A galah of salumeri hanging from the entire ceiling and shelves of attractive and affordable products on the shelves. NOT TO BE MISSED!
A shame for the Corsicans, I bought 500 gr of ham with 300 gr of fat!! Super salty, I really felt like a tourist. I do not recommend this deli.
