Bidra med feedbackThe front desk and bar staff were great. Our suite was very nice, comfortable and nicely finished/decorated. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. We enjoyed a cocktail on the rooftop by the fire pit. Walking distance to shopping, dining, and drinking!
Not worth the price- the hotel concept is a fun idea but they fall short with the rooms. We paid a pretty high premium to stay in a room with zero windows (not advertised that way) directly under the bar area. The walls are so thin we could barely sleep with the movement above us at night and then again bright and early in the morning. Fresh water and chocolates advertised on the website were just some Hershey kisses and some flavored water in the lobby. Being right next door to a place that sells delicious local chocolates, you would think the hotel would put a little more thought and effort into that part. The rooms advertised on their website must be their better rooms- a ‘bottom level room’ should be advertised as windowless and very noisy- definitely not worth a few hundred bucks a night and we would not have booked had we known. Although, looking at some of the other reviews I think others also have had the same experience. I will say the lounge was nice and the drinks were great so the next time we are back we will stay somewhere else and just visit the lounge. Lots of other great options to stay around Boone- this was a huge disappointment.
When we made our reservation we wanted a dog friendly room, unfortunately they did not tell us that dog friendly rooms were in the basement. Luckily our basement room had a window looking at the alley full of trash cans. It’s was musty dreary down there. We talked to other guests that didn’t even have a window in their room. A very expensive dungeon. The room itself was weird mismatched tile floors, and a black toilet sink. The staff was friendly but was not trained to handle complaints. They told us that in future they are going to start discounting the basement rooms. We paid about $460 a night with taxes and fees. Lobby rooftop are great but very deceiving because they don’t represent the room accommodations. Couldn’t wait to get out of there! I just went to the rooftop bar. It's a fun and beautiful place to hangout. The cocktails are tasty but they are missing out on having a small bar food menu. Even just 3 appetizer or charcuterie board options would be a game changer.
I want to live in this hotel. Wonderful staff. Charming space. Super location with lots of restaurants and shops in walking distance. But the best part was my room (8). Cozy, fun, comforting, and excellent AC. Big wonderful bed. Charming details everywhere. Seriously, it's the cutest, loveliest, wonderful place to stay. The parking is a little irksome but that's the price you pay for staying in the middle of a busy downtown. It wasn't that bad and that explain the location and process perfectly.
