Bidra med feedbackKhao Thip is looking tired and run down. It used to serve the most delicious Massaman curry but something has changed. The last 2 times we went, they did not have prawns on the menu (none at all) due to the ban of importing. The first time I understand, but a few weeks later and still suing the same excuse? Either buy local prawns and increase your prices or take prawns off your menu. Not impressed and will not return because who know what else they are cutting costs on.
The pad kee Mao and the geang panang are very good. Other dishes we have tried are also quality taste. Service friendly and fast
There is no doubt about the friendliness, good service and value for money here. the menu has quiet a variety of traditional Thai dishes; they even have spicy papaya salad and mango with sticky rice. And in between the entree and desert one can get tasty Thai-style cooked curries, veggies, fish and meat dishes. The taste of all the dishes that I've ordered here over my past visits have never failed my palate!Tip: I guess you'll nee to tell them to have reduced salt in your dishes if you are not into eating dishes that are a tad saltier.
I love coming to doncaster from nearby box hill as you always find a nice restaurant and without struggling to get a car park. this place is one of the better thai places in eastern suburbs. an added bonus to great service and yummy food is vicinity of 2 liquor stores to choose a BYO wine from
Came here on a Saturday night with Melbourne friends, who highly recommended the place. I soon got to see why they liked it: ambience is both casual and refined, service efficient and friendly, wide ranging menu featuring many Thai favourites, and overall it offers very good value for money. The meals were excellent: I like a bit of a chilli while one or two of my dining companions are not so keen but the compromises the restaurant managed worked out well. Quite a few options for vegetarians, too, which is not always the case when eating Thai. It's licensed or BYO (wine only) and a very reasonable corkage charge of $2/head.
