A&w - Boscobel

"I would gladly travel an extra 10 miles just to get food from Boscobel!"

Good day for ice cream. Everyone was working together and orders were coming out in a timely fashion. The drive through was super busy, but they kept the lone moving. About the only place to find Blacl Raspberry amd Root Beer flavored ice cream.

I went through the drive through and ordered a double bacon cheeseburger meal with chilli cheese fries and a rootbeer no ice. My order was prepared fast and efficient. Everything was just as I had ordered, no mistakes. The burger was delicious and piled high with the works. The chilli chese fries were great as well. However They forgot to give me a spoon or fork in order to eat my fries. Fortunately I had one already in my car in the glove box.

Go to Culver's instead. The tiny snack packs at Culver's are $5 and give you MORE food than I got at A&W for $8.50 sadly. The fries were soggy, greasy, undercooked, and barely lukewarm. The Freeze we ordered was pretty much all root beer and no ice cream. My hungry wife barely touched her cheeseburger because it was dry, chewy, and the cheese tasted like processed plastic. The coleslaw was sour. The chicken strips were rubbery and we're just a little larger than a child's fish stick. We used to love A&W, but this experience's only positive aspect was the actual (half filled) cup of root beer. Both of us have lost our once large appetites. Go to Culver's instead.

It was a great experience overall, but unfortunately, they didn't have any marinara sauce. Other than that, everything was good!
