Bidra med feedbackLoved the vibe here and staff was really accommodating. Food wise- the wings are your best bet (sweet Asian and the bacon ones were GREAT!!! and the crawfish truck. The wrap and salad were not great. The fries were decent.
Flying Heart is our favorite place to take friends/family that come to visit, and one of a handful of local spots we go to regularly. Great beer, delicious pizza and always friendly staff. Fantastic environment for both small and large groups, good amount of outdoor seating on their covered patio. It gets busy so don?t be surprised if there is a wait, it is well worth it! If you get stuck waiting for a table, grab a beer or two from the bar. My favorite is the PartyCrasher.
Our server was excellent! She patiently waited for all of our friends to arrive before taking our orders. I was disappointed that my Malibu drink was served in a regular glass instead of being presented nicely. As someone not familiar with the area, I think the restaurant could improve its presentation considering the number of customers it attracts. The biggest disappointment was the pizza. Just look at the photo of my Meat Jeffero pizza - the toppings were not evenly spread out, leaving one half with hardly any toppings. Many of the ingredients seemed low quality. Despite the cool vibe, I wouldn't come back here. While they have great reviews, the food is hit and miss.
I had a fantastic experience at Bosier, a great pizza place with a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent and the restaurant had a vibrant energy. I will definitely return for delicious food and drinks.
I have visited this restaurant three times and each time it has been very crowded, but they handle the large crowds well. I have tried the cheese sticks (which are more like a thin crust pizza with cheese, no sauce) both times, and the pretzel once. Both dishes are worth trying. There is a wide variety of pizza styles on the menu, and I am looking forward to exploring more options. They also have a new specialty pizza each month, which is a fun experience. Although I don't drink much, they have a selection of different beers, and I enjoyed the Louisiana Amber. My group also appreciated being able to take their drinks outside in an approved container, thanks to the laws in the East Bank. The atmosphere is lively and enjoyable, whether you are on a date or with a group of friends. Like other restaurants in the area, it is definitely worth a visit.
