The restaurant has an amazing selection of whisky! The food was delicious, especially the burger. The bartenders were very friendly and entertaining.

I had visited this restaurant a few times before the pandemic, but it never really stood out to me. However, I decided to make a reservation for this past Sunday night before the lockdown.

The dining experience at this restaurant was satisfactory, but the prices were quite high for the quality of food. The appetizers were on the smaller side and quite rich. The burger was delicious.

I come here every so often when work gets out. The location in the Fenway area is pretty hard to beat and it 's not too badly prices for the area. The bar is dimly lit and it can get loud when it gets crowded. The crew has been attentive during my visits in. The whiskey selection is phenomenal, and they have a Whisky Club for the frequent fliers which encourages folks to continue trying something new. This can be a great way to try something new before committing to a full bottle. The food is excellent. I am particularly fond of the fried pickles as well as the fish and chips. For a smaller appetite, the meatball slider is quite good.

The irony is that all my companions tonight were not fans of either whiskey nor raw seafood, the two specialties of Citizen Public House, but thankfully all the other food and drink options were plentiful and very delicious! The spicy deep fried pickles were super addictive, the endive winter salad was so flavorful with a very nose-tingly horseradish dressing, cauliflower cream pan fried gnocchi was divine, and especially enjoyed the duck pot pie with root veggies. Our server was so charismatic, attentive and kind. Could not recommend coming here enough! And would love to come back and try their raw seafood bar :
