Bidra med feedbackMediocre food at exorbitant prices.I took the salt and pepper shrimp. God!! Tasteless, just batter fried with green peppers... costs $26 with tax and gratuity.Had the fried rice. Wow. Greasy, tasteless. Uncooked.Plain horrible taste.Careful eating anything here that is not a dumpling.
Good food, bad service. server often sit on their hands or talk to each other. I usually tipped 20%, although the service was below expectations. there was a waitress that was helpful, but a server was particularly terrible. 2021. dumpling cafe has implemented a mandatory satisfaction of 18% or 20.% and the service went even further back. I accidentally found out about the mandatory tipp when I asked for a reception, and the server told me that I'm all set. I had paid with credit card and the restaurant had returned the card without reception. I replied that I wasn't all set that I needed the reception. the server said she couldn't print it to talk to the cashier. I then spoke to the cashier and he said there was no way to print the reception that I had to talk to someone named michael. I asked where Michael is, and the cashier told me that Ichael is not here to come back in an hour. I asked if I would come back in an hour, how would I know what's evening mine? After I made a picture of the cashier, he has miraculously printed out my last acknowledgement and that is when I discovered the obligatory tip. I asked the cashier about the tip and he said that was something they thought deserved. I asked the cashier what if I had paid in cash, there would have been a mandatory tip and he answered no.
This place has good food. it is a very casual and fast solution to set hunger. the personal is minimal with the work they do, not personal, which does not have to be a bad thing. if you want to eat and eat on your dish, this can be a place for them, food tastes good. the place seems a bit old, so compared to other places, ambiente wise to prefer you probably something else. I would really recommend this place only if they are just looking for to get their meal fast. it is an in-and out-type of experience. I prefer other restaurants, just because it smells interesting here sometimes, the employees always seem like they are trying to get rid of who sits on the table. I just feel hastened and not love feeling hastened while enjoying the best creation from everyone, eating. the food comes out quickly, however, what is in question, how fresh it is or whether it was made before and only heated.
Late night Taiwanese restaurant with plentiful emptying options. came here with family on a Saturday evening for an early evening dinner at 18 o'clock and was sitting immediately. only in the interior, no outside option. takeout is also available. masks required. they serve alcohol (there are tsingtao.) credit cards are accepted. we have four dishes for us, and that was a good amount of food. my mother loved the dizziness especially, and since she is a fried rice, the high praise comes from her. the xiao long bao had a really thick skin and not a tonne broth in the inner, but they were very big. the fried dumplings were good. the Taiwanese bark soup was also in order; they can adjust the nudel so that for those who are picky over nude thickness, they are good there. it is a small space, so it can be more difficult to get a table during the standard eating times, but we were in and out there within an hour. overall a good option to eat when they are in chinatown.
Really delicious Taiwanese pan roasted dumplings. highly recommended. the teig is beautiful and damp and pleasant chewing. the filling is also delicious. the ice-dip soup is average, but still tasty. the service is really rude
