Bidra med feedbackWe ordered the 5 Special Roll Deal for $64 and the Small Party Boat for $72, which came with the Fire Bruins Maki for $17! The Korean sushi was decent and the prices were very competitive. The location was super convenient, the service was great, and the Fire Bruins Maki was superb! We all loved it. Thank you, Oppa Sushi!
The service at this restaurant was excellent, with fast and attentive servers. The sushi was amazing, particularly the #23 torch salmon and #15 Celtics dish. However, the sauce on the Celtics dish was only okay. The decor was unique and artistic. The miso soup was exceptional, a definite 10/10. One downside was that the place was a bit humid, but it did not detract from our overall experience, despite the high temperature of 95 degrees. The only other con was the lack of drink options, with soda cans priced at $2 each.
Went in with high expectations seeing the 4.5/5 star reviews on Google reviews and Yelp. Sadly the experience was quite disappointing. We were originally planning to dine in but the restaurant interior just wasn't particularly inviting and therewas a musty smell in the atmosphere right after we entered the restaurant. We still wanted to try the sushi so we opted to gettakeout instead. We ordered one salmon maki $6) and one tuna maki $6.50). Each maki came with six pieces of sushi. For around$1 per piece, the quality was mediocre at best. The salmon and tuna fish were just ok, and there was way too much rice. We alsodidn't like how they added a bunch of scallions in each piece of sushi. Really don't know why they are trying to be overlyinnovative with their makis as it did not mention there were scallions included in the makis. We won't be coming back hereagain.
My friend and I came here looking for some Korean style sushi. While their menu was limited than I initially expected, we were able to find the spicy fish bowl soup which is a popular dish in Korea during the summer. The bowl came with an icy cold brothand vegetables that enhanced the refreshing aftertaste. The classic combination of thinly sliced squid and the sweet and spicybroth was nice, but the broth was too sweet for my taste. We also had the regular sushi and the scallop yaki, but both wereunfortunately mediocre at best. Without AC, the restaurant was extremely hot and humid. The servers tried their best to provideus with a table closest to a fan, but it was pointless. Humidity and temperature are also critical factors in maintaining thequality of the sushi, so it was a bit concerning. We were also hugely disappointed when we found out that some items on the menuwere more expensive than what was indicated. The fish bowl soup ended up being $10 more expensive, and we didn?t realize thisuntil we got out. Although I would love to give a higher rating for their superb service, the overall experience wasn?t worthwhat I paid for.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, but their pricing is inconsistent. There is a peculiar sign on the wall stating that actual prices may vary from those listed on the menu. Upon receiving the bill, we discovered that some dishes were several dollars more expensive than expected. It is frustrating to be surprised by higher prices after ordering. We question the legality of this practice and wonder why they simply do not update their menu. However, the waitstaff is friendly and they consistently follow COVID precautions. Initially, they checked guests' temperatures upon arrival, but now they ensure that everyone has used hand sanitizer before entering.
