Bidra med feedbackThe vegan pork rinds were intriguing but overly salty and had a texture more similar to pan crackers than traditional pork rinds. The ragu was flavorful and had a delicious lamb taste, but the noodles were slightly overcooked and the focaccia seemed stale. The apple crumble was disappointing, with hot edges and a cold center. Despite these flaws, the bar in downtown Boston offered good value for its trendy atmosphere.
The drinks were excellent at this restaurant (although they served the hot coffee in a copper cup during our brunch visit). My cousin and his wife loved the pancakes and Oh Benny (their take on biscuits and gravy). The Benedict dish was lackluster and arrived cold (the biscuits were hard, like reheated bread). I'm giving it four stars mainly because of the attentive, helpful, and friendly staff.
The sweet potato dumplings were delicious, the rice and beans were okay, and the buttermilk chicken was fantastic. The drinks were excellent. My only issue was the noise level in the dining room; it had a very industrial feel and we had to raise our voices to hear each other. Despite that, the menu had a variety of tasty options and the prices were fair. Overall, it was a positive experience.
All solid experience at Stillwater, nothing that was disappointed. if they are looking for something convenient and classic American kitchen near harbour chinatown, they will not look further. the fried spits, cookies, empanadas and much more to begin and everything was delicious. I've got the pappardelle and finished everything. my friends got the pulled pork mac n cheese, the burger and salate and they are all good. also loved their cocktails! have their version of a hot toddy and thank you next and both were great! The food was great and the service was even better. the owner john was so amazing on my son who has food allergies. I would recommend this place to everyone in the opposite.
