Bidra med feedbackThe breakfast at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and for those who are interested in trains, there are many vintage photos displayed on the walls inside. I mentioned to the owner about old photos of the train station from years ago. You can find some on the Disused Stations website. Unfortunately, I can't provide the link here due to Trip Advisor rules, but you should be able to find it easily by searching on Google.
A warm early morning welcome , great start to the day with a breakfast to die for , great start to the holiday we always go here to save on the washing up and cleaning the kitchen on the first day of our holiday , and sometimes on the way back call in for a home cooked lunch .
We visit here occasionally for a treat in the form of a good old fry up. There is a large car park here so could accommodate plenty of cars, coaches and lorries. The cafe is clean and we’ve always found the staff friendly. We both ordered the station special which was priced at £5.90 which consisted of 2 sausages, 2 fried eggs, 2 bacon, hash brown, fried bread, beans, tomatoes and a drink. We also added mushrooms which were an additional 90p. They do a few different options and also serve hot dinners/burgers/sandwiches but we’ve not tried anything other than breakfasts.
Stopped here today on the way to Mablethorpe from Heckington, wife and I had a wonderful breakfast. Nothing fancy just a great breakfast with fried bread of all things, no fancy coffee just a good cup of coffee and a mug of tea. Staff very friendly, obliging and competent. Would recommend to anybody passing through.
Breakfast before embarking on the last leg of the Water Railway Walk. Smiling helpful staff and a perfectly cooked breakfast. Can’t fault it
