Landgasthof Rebstock - Bottingen

This hotel is what they call 'deutsche Gemütlichkeit'. On busy moments in the restaurant, the kitchen might not be serving your dinner in one hour. Is that a problem? No. You can be sure that your dish will be prepared freshly and with love. The food is absolutely good, so are the prices. They serve good (local!) wines for more than fair prices. When you want to stay over night here, make sure to get a renovated room. The older rooms have no A/C what makes it quite hot during the heat waves in summer! The renovated rooms are huge, have good bathrooms and perfectly working a/c's. The older rooms have a balcony which is good for the long nights here. The atmosphere is good Location couldn't be better, about 5 minutes away from the A5 (BaselKarlsruhe), 30 mins from Breisach and the Rhine and 45 mins away from both the Titisee and Schluchsee. Go here!

Friendly reception, everything is clean and beds are comfortable. Small tv. The breakfast is fantastic, you miss nothing. Evening meals are average.

Abbiamo cenato nuovamente in questa struttura una sera di febbraio, sostando per una notte durante un viaggio dal Sud verso il Nord dell’Europa. Per arrivarci, occorre lasciare l’autostrada che da Basilea sale a Karlsruhe all’altezza di Teningen, dirigersi verso Nimburg, attraversare la cittadina ed un paio di km oltre si arriva a Bottingen, dove si trova l’Hotel/ristorante Rebstock.Il ristorante è il tipico ristorante tedesco della zona, con mobili e decori in legno di buona fattura, situato in un piccolo villaggio molto pittoresco e dove molte delle case hanno di tutta evidenza più di qualche secolo, pure se molto ben conservate con la struttura portante in legno a vista.Due soupes (una al pomodoro, l’altra di zucca con semi abbrustoliti di girasole) ci hanno riscaldato prima della portata principale. Abbiamo quindi ordinato un filetto di carne argentina che raccomando, ed una trota anch’essa notevole per cottura e presentazione. Birra locale, prodotta nel paesino limitrofo di Riegel, anche lei degna di menzione.Servizio gentile e cordiale, si parla abbastanza l’inglese per potersi capire.Prezzi più che ragionevoli.

Leuk menu en goede prijs. Voor de meiden 12 en 14 jaar iets te onbekende dingen. Lekkere wijn. Iedereen is vriendelijk al was het wel wat rommelig en duurde het lang. Het was echt oké met aandacht voor oud en nieuw.

A 45 minutes de la Montagne aux Singes et à 20 d'Europa Park soit les 2 activités prévues pour ce break de 2 jours. Nous avons dormi et mangé le soir dans cet établissement. Nuit de rêve dans un lit plus que confortable. Pour le repas, la Schnitzel était bonne mais les frites avaient un fort goût d'huile. La coupe Danmark au dessert était un peu petite mais la sauce au chocolat noir l'accompagnant délicieuse. Quant au petit déjeuner il fut parfait. En ajoutant l'accueil des plus sympathique on obtient au final un très agréable hôtel.
