Gooch's A-1 - Boulder Junction

Locally recommended when we were camping in Allequash, Outstanding Service as soon as we sat down, they came to us through their menu. Atmosphere is comforting, many fun characters and cool taxidermy. Now the food, I couldn't put in words how tasty her Gooch Burger was, I couldn't put it on except I stuffed Pommes in my mouth. If I ever go through Boulder Junction, that's my first stop.

Only been there a small bunch of times, but 3 times in a week this year. Fish fry Excellent. Cheese curds Excellent. Prime Rib sandwich Excellent. Broasted chicken Excellent. Creamy chicken wild rice soup Amazing. Burger Fantastic. Tater tots Outstanding. Some sort of chicken wrap (had half my wife didn't finish) Wonderful. Okay, I admit My nephew didn't care for the chicken fingers. That said, I'm not sure why he ordered them, as he typically doesn't really like chicken. Meh, that's his problem. I'll bet they're great. Long story short If you drive past, it's your loss.

Always enjoy stopping in for lunch whether I'm on motorcycle or snowmobile. The service is great food is excellent. It is a must stop on your travels.

Great food, great people, and the best northwoods decor. Highly recommend putting Gooch's on your list of places to visit, eat, and drink when in the area!
