We had a dinner of two and it the was a lovely experience. The cocktails were delicious. My steak was cooked clean, and perfectly seasoned. 100% grass fed and grass finished. My friend had the gnocchi and it was amazing, especially with the meat tomato sauce. The interior of the restaurant is intricately rusty yet modern. We love the historic Red brick walls
Such a great place to spend one of the first date nights out we've had in 2 years. Table for 6, half booth half chairs right up by the windows out to Pearl Street Mall with good friends and some new friends. Lovely evening. Thx Maddy and Brad.
Server felt like they were rushing us despite plenty of open tables. The food was only okay, certainly not worth the prices charged.
I guess with a name like SALT you can assume that the food will be overly salty? Such was the case with the cod dish. It was pretty much just an extremely salty and overcooked piece of fish in a salty tomato broth with some white beans. The Brussel sprouts were sad and soggy and much too sweet. The fries were undercooked but the homemade ketchup was nice. The drinks and servers were nice, but this is not a five or four-star restaurant. It is more like a bar trying to serve good food. Both of us left wondering why this place has such good reviews.
