Robintino's Of Bountiful

Robintinos has changed over time. Some for the better, some for the worse. We loved the breadsticks that come with your meal as kind of an appetizer. The garlic bread came and was over baked and extremely dry. I got the broccoli cheddar soup which was really good but we’re served with stale and expired oyster crackers. I discovered they were expired after I put them in my soup. I also got a side salad which was good. Some of the things that were not good were that my sons meals came out about 15 minutes prior to anyone else’s then we had to try to entertain him while everyone else received their food and he had long been finished. My brother in law ordered a cenetta that came long after anyone else’s meal. Everyone had finished and we were asking for the check and we were thinking the pizza was completely forgotten. When the pizza came it was burnt on the bottom. We haven’t been here in a long time because their food is inconsistent and not great. I don’t think we’ll be rushing back.

Some family members arrived early and were treated poorly. The waitress took an eternity to bring us our drinks and salads. By the time our meals arrived, we were all rushing to finish our salads. There were several mix-ups with our orders. The waitress kept coming back to say that some equipment was broken and that she needed to fix it to get our drinks. A couple of us ordered the chicken Parmesan—one received the wrong dish (which was more expensive and we were charged for it), while the other got the chicken Parmesan but without the advertised bed of pasta, just the chicken and sauce. When we pointed this out, the waitress insisted, “It doesn’t come with pasta, but I brought you some anyway.” When we tipped the pasta dish, we had to dump out all the excess water that had pooled in it. Others who ordered different pasta dishes didn’t even receive their garlic bread. To top it all off, those of us who had the pasta sauce ended up with stomach aches and nausea afterward. I will never eat there again.

My roommate shared his childhood experience at this restaurant with his father, and it inspired me to try it out myself with my fiancé. I was not disappointed and am already looking forward to our next visit. I hope to bring a group along next time so I can use the room behind the bookcase! The food is delicious, and the service is wonderful!

We were seated in the bar area, where our waitress, who was new, seemed to struggle with taking orders. Unfortunately, she got everyone’s orders wrong, including mine. I received the wrong dish and wasn't provided with silverware. A neighboring table kindly offered me some of theirs since they still hadn't received their food, despite ordering before I did. When my husband requested a knife, the waitress denied him. I also never received a refill on my drink. Overall, the service was terrible, even considering it was her first night. Although she had a helper, there was no intervention to address the ongoing issues. To top it off, the food was disappointing. This was our first and last visit. The only positive aspect was the company of our fellow patrons, with whom we could laugh and share our frustrations about the situation.

They have wonderful appetizers here, their breadsticks and ranch dressing are to die for, I also enjoy their pizza, but I would probably avoid their three cheese tortellini, but the wait staff are very kind. And the atmosphere is so cute, there are stained glass seat backs for some of the benches and they are adorable!
