Tgi Friday's - Bourbonnais

This was an office reunion. The second server was good but they were out of the first 4 wines we asked for. Finally ordered a house Chardonnay and was charged $12.79 which is outrageous. Our salads were good. Salad, wine, tax and tip was a $34 lunch Won't be returning!

The worst food ever. Waste of time and money. Grandchilds fried shrimp still had the shell on them . She said it tasted funny and couldn't eat it so pulled breading off one , and sure enough was not shelled. And it was rubbery. Definately overcooked. My son had steak and threw up in bathroom before we left.

I was very disappointed in my experience here. We were walked past 3 dirty tables on our way to our seats. Tables with each and every plate still sitting out. Not a single item was pre-bussed or touched. Then we were seated with this view. Talk about disgusting! The entire time we were at this restaurant no one bothered to clean up what looked like a dirty break room. But this was IN THE RESTAURANT right next to where we were seated. If the seating area that the public sees was this gross, I can only imagine how nasty the kitchen was! I even decided to wait and use the bathroom at the nearby target knowing it would be cleaner. I haven't eaten here in years, and won't be back anytime soon, which is unfortunate because I like the menu.

Gave it one star as there nothing lower. Stopped in for a drink recently and I had a lime that was obviously spoiled. When I asked the bartender about it, she just replied all of limes are like that . To which I replied, why would you serve it? She shrugged. Stay away from this place unless you want to play food poisoning roulette. Guess what, this place will not get another visit.

Went for lunch at about 1PM today. There was ONE young lady working!! She was having to play hostess, bartender, waitress, and I wouldn't doubt sous/head chef too!! 2 couples in front of us also walked out since she didn't have time to seat anyone! Who schedules ONE person for a lunch?!?!? Not even a manager in sight helping, unless they were stuck in the kitchen! Totally ridiculous! I feel sorry for the young lady. She doesn't make enough having to be the ONLY employee in the building! Until they hire people who show up to work,, expect long waits...
