Bidra med feedbackFinally, Cape Cod came to visit and tried my first lobster roll here and OMG-Beyond delicious. I'll be my new friend again
With so many options for seafood on the Cape, I'm couldn’t be happier we decided on a whim to stop at American Lobster Mart. We stopped in on Monday evening and each got a lobster roll (one hot and buttered, one regular), and they did not disappoint! They blew away other lobster rolls we had during our trip to New England! I do regret not getting the garlic hot and buttered to split as well. The lobster bisque was wonderful – a little touch of sherry in the soup really brought up the flavors without overwhelming it. I also enjoyed that it wasn’t too thick, but very flavorful. I know there are plenty of great places to eat on the Cape, but I felt it a rarity to go somewhere with both outstanding food and such genuinely gracious hospitality. The owner and his staff took the experience to the next level. I didn’t think a counter service spot would emphasize customer interaction, but my guess is it comes naturally to Larry and his team. If you are reading this THANK YOU! We’re looking forward to making this a regular stop during our travels to the area…in fact, I bet we’d drive the hour and change from Boston just to visit.
MUST TRY!!! I stopped in here because I saw the sign about lobster rolls. 4 DIFFERENT types of lobster rolls!!! I tried the buttered, and it did not disappoint. I usually do not eat the bread, but it was so good, I ate the whole thing. Next time I want to get the buttered and garlic. The bread is toasted and buttered. The lobster is placed in a pan and buttered. Some places they just pour the butter over the sandwich, or serve it with the butter on the side. That is not what you will get here!!! The staff is super friendly! Quality food! They also offer soups to go-cold and hot. It is easy to access. Can be tricky pulling out onto the rotary, but the restaurant is worth it. If it is nice outside, there is a small patio to sit outside and watch the traffic on the bridge. Will definitely go back!
Just what I expected! !! Super wonderful service and extremely excellent food, I had a cup of the best clam chowder I've ever had! And also some clam stripes fried shrimp and fries , very awesome food, the very best in New England! Will definitely be back, courtesy from Sweet Home Alabama
The staff here is fantastic, and they seem to be a permanent fixture at this popular spot right by the Bourne Bridge Turn. The prices are reasonable, and the menu offers a great variety. Don't miss out on the fish and chips; they're a classic!
