Trattoria Athena - Bournemouth

We had a wonderful dining experience here last night. I was pleasantly surprised to secure a same-day reservation and we were offered bar seats, which turned out to be the best seats in the house thanks to Henry. He was fun to chat with as he crafted delicious cocktails for us. The food was amazing and the alfredo was one of the best we've ever had (and my friend is a connoisseur of alfredo dishes). We were so caught up in enjoying the meal that I forgot to take a picture of it. We didn't have room for dessert this time, but we are already planning to try some on our next visit!

I stopped by this restaurant without a reservation and was able to be seated on my 5th attempt, thanks to a double check. Overall, I highly recommend this place for dinner. The wine list and cocktail menu are excellent. The waitress was lovely, knowledgeable, and attentive to our needs. She seemed very familiar with the menu, and her recommendations were spot-on when I was undecided. I ordered the bolognese and the Ashes to Ashes rye cocktail, both of which were delicious.

I've worked this review a year ago. enoteca is still amazing, and they have new owners and a great new cook! the personal and the atmosphere are great, and of course the food and drinks are to die. when they visit the opposite, they will check them safely. if they are local, check them too!

My wife and I came here for an anniversary dinner, and boy, were we delighted. The food was great, and the ambiance was even better. This little Brunswick secret was well worth the visit!

We were completely blown away by our dining experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind, making our meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service and food were top-notch. To top it off, a stranger surprised us by paying for our entire bill, leaving us grateful and amazed. We hope this review and our thanks reach them. While we can't promise they'll receive a free meal, we are certain they will continue to be satisfied with the exceptional service and cuisine at this establishment.
