Bowen Sushi to Go - Bowen Island

I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered a dynamite roll, spicy tuna roll, and miso soup. The rolls were very basic and lacked flavor. The miso soup, although tasty, was served in a container that was only half full. The fish in the rolls did not taste fresh at all. I couldn't finish my meal and ended up feeling ill the next morning.

I recently ordered takeout from this cozy sushi restaurant in Snug Cove. The food was decent, but the service was distant and the dining area was not organized efficiently.

This is a great place to dine, with friendly staff and delicious food.

There is a couple of tables, but it's mostly take out. The sushi and sashimi portions are bigger than you'd get in the greater Vancouver area and much tastier as I found the rice filler was not as big and therefore you could taste the rest of the food involved. Also, it was a very friendly place and I really enjoyed what I ordered. I'd go again. I also ordered bowls of food for my friends and they also really enjoyed it. We did take out and I'll go back for more again.

Would recommend. Sushi made fresh and quickly! Nice atmosphere, service was excellent, and very easy to get to in town.
