Bidra med feedbackI visited the location at 6840 Race Track Rd., Bowie, Maryland 20715, which is one of their spots in Waldorf, College Park, and Silver Spring. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed. Parking was easy, and I truly enjoyed the authentic atmosphere. Don’t forget to add some hoisin and sriracha to your Pho—trust me, it makes all the difference! Oh, and I must mention the delicious chai tea; the toppings served on the side were a lovely touch as well. Plus, the restaurant is compliant with Covid safety measures.
For the appetizer, we got the Asian poppers. I would rate them 3 out of 5. The presentation was quite disappointing; the plate was too large for the amount of food served, and the poppers were uneven in size. Additionally, the ratio of salad to poppers was off. As for the taste, it was average at best. My mom ordered Pho D'lite, which I’d give a perfect 5 out of 5. I really enjoyed this pho; it had a wonderful balance of flavors, much better than what I've had elsewhere. My sister had the pork dish, also earning a 5 out of 5! The plate came with pork, rice, and fried vegetables. The dipping vinegar served with the pork was delicious, and I found myself wanting to replicate that flavor at home. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai and would rate it 4 out of 5. While it was still good, the Pad Thai I usually enjoy more. The noodles were the same as those used in the pho, and unfortunately, the shrimp lacked flavor, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I would consider returning, especially for the pho and pork.
The food was pretty good. We had the Pho and it was pretty delicious. The Asian poppers were okay, they wouldn't order again. Service was just okay, but the speed at which the food came out was on it. That and the price is good!
I tried pho for the first time and it was amazing! The broth was rich and flavorful without being oily. I also ordered my usual butter wings. Having the owners present really enhances the experience. You won’t regret anything on the menu; everything is packed with flavor. This month, they are featuring a pho happy hour from 3 to 5 PM for just $5. The seating, decor, and overall atmosphere are cool and welcoming. You'd be missing out if you didn’t check out this fantastic spot! After your meal, you can wander around or grab some ice, like I did. If you're vegan or gluten-free, this place caters to those diets as well. The pho was so plentiful that I couldn't finish it, but I absolutely have no regrets! I had such a delightful experience, and I’m thrilled that the original owners are back. Thank you again, Mrs. Jennifer and Mr. David, for a wonderful meal and for sharing your pho expertise!
