Bidra med feedbackNot your typical italian food restaurant. Small and quaint. Very different dishes, truly unique and delicious. They do serve cocktails and wine.
This is the story. We had 5 in our party. I had the lamb chops they were wonderful. However, my other guests had menu items and our appetizers were OK but not fantastic and very small portions with very high prices. Even high for bozeman prices. The staff was great. I was very happy to tip them well. The building is a bit cramped, and it's difficult to maneuver.
The food is delicious. For appetizer we had the greens goat cheese beet salad which was excellent. Then the sweet corn and mushroom agnolotti and squid ink pasta. Pasta definitely tastes really fresh since they make it in house. The flavors for both were varied and tasty. Recommend reservations as they were booked for Friday so we sat at the bar. That was fine but if you want a table better call ahead.
I grew up in new jersey in Italian and would never have dreamed of such a place under big sky land. that is the only place I would even think of in the future italian. the kalamari was so cooked when so many cook it too long. the otopus exactly the same as such a delicate dish I have not as amazing otopus since my trip to italia itself. it melted in your mouth. the risotto was perfect. the desserts were the crowning jewel of the meal. I was blown away and recommended this restaurant. I'll come back.
Great experience! our waiter, grant, has made great recommendations and was super attentive. the hühnermarsala is one of the best menu items I have ever ordered. I recommend blacksmith italian!
