Bidra med feedbackOh I have helped many couples to move into the neighborhood by helping them find home, it's just an amazing country club, like a real fully functioning community, I think many times country clubs are really just a restaurant or really just playing a place to golf, really seems as we have the community up here, you very quickly forget that you are in Bradenton
Had the veggie pizza, was very good. Also ordered a side salad of which we had to ask them to be brought out before our pizza. Asked for a iced tea refill, instead of bringing it our server started cleaning tables. She finally came back and I had to ask for the refill again. Food was very good but the service was extremely slow. Only eight other people in the grill room besides us. Should be better.
Friends of ours recently purchased a veranda at River Strand and invited us to get out of the snow where we live in Utah and come visit. We enjoyed a lovely brunch at the club house. The buffet was amazing. There was a wide selection of salads, meats, vegetables, pastas, etc. and the presentation of the food, especially at the seafood table, was beautiful. Everything from the eggs Benedict and breakfast sausage to the prime rib and Caesar salad, the food was delicious. The food servers, wait staff and hosts were attentive and friendly. The tables, with the fresh flowers and chocolate eggs, were very festive. We really enjoyed it! Jan Patterson
Course is very nice, challenging. Greens and tee boxes in good shape. Fairways nice, a lot of sand and water. Very scenic, no problem with pace of play today. Only issue was everything was closed due to Covid- no restaurants, no bar, couldn’t get a drink, no cart service. However, the driving range was packed with kids getting golf lessons. Just felt like if you can give lessons to a group of people you could have a drink cart. Fair price for the course, I wouldn’t say great deal, but worth it for the scenery and condition of the course. Staff was friendly.
We took on a challenging 9-hole round on foot at the Shrine course. The holes are generally quite long but quite spacious as well. The fairways were a bit difficult, which made things challenging. The greens are especially tricky with numerous slopes that are hard to read. Overall, the course conditions were good, and the environment was very pleasant. I really enjoyed the experience, but I don't think I would want to play 18 holes!
