Katie's Cafe - Bradenton

That was our first time we came to Katie. The food was excellent. We found the prices very cheap. The parts were good. The staff was very friendly.

Katie’s is full every morning with their “regulars”. In the restaurant world, having regulars means your doing business right. As a regular myself, I see how all the staff and the owner operate. They are consistent, friendly deliver quality. He has little to no turn over, this means he’s taking care of his employees and they enjoy working for him. They make you feel like your having breakfast at home with your family. This is a feel good, good food and great company kind of place. If you haven’t been here, your missing out. If you have been here, you are probably agreeing with everything I’ve written as you read it. Order the Short Stack, you won’t be disappointed.

Great downhome style family restaurant. Breakfast rush 7 to 9 place is packed and the wait staff including the owner hustle to get you looked after. Portions are generous and the coffee is always hot. Well worth the wait to get a seat. Enjoy.

The food was good as were the prices but the portions were really small. Hubby got a 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup and side salad for $6.99. The sandwich was fine, the salad was so small it was in a little bowl like a slaw bowl and all it had in it was a little lettuce and and 4 small pieces of celery. The soup was in a cup not much bigger than a demitasse cup. Would have rather paid a little more for decent size portions.

This is a great breakfast spot with a wide variety of options. The waitress was friendly and seemed to know all the regular customers. A restaurant with a loyal following must be doing something right!
