Highly recommend the World Peace cafe situated in the heart of Keighley. Situated opposite the bus station it’s a well located peaceful haven in the busy town centre. All food I’ve enjoyed there has been tasty served with a smile. And the red lentil coconut soup is sublime! The menu is fully vegetarian or vegan all food is homemade. The cafe also accommodate intolerances allergies to a very high standard. There are books magazines to read should you wish and there’s also a gift area offering books, candles, incense and cards. To the back of the cafe there is a family type room with a snug feel to it. Comfy couches tables make for an ambient visit plus there’s a well stocked book shelf offering donated books on sale for a small contribution. The World Peace Cafe is a wonderful place for a brew and/or a meal. We had the vegan panini and they were amazing. Toasted perfectly with humus and red peppers. They were fantastic. The cafe has two bookshelves of books for sale. One is in the adjacent room and they are wide range of used books. The new books are in the main room. They are books on Buddhism. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The cafe is run by volunteers. The World Peace Cafe is a great place to check out with delicious food.
