Country Store - Bradfordsville

This is a great place to dine. Just be sure to call ahead before visiting, as they are closed more often than they are open.

I dined at TGs Cafeteria in Lebanon, where they refused to provide me with a plastic fork when I purchased a Grape Soda. This strange interaction has led me to decide not to eat there again. It seems excessive to not provide simple plastic utensils, especially considering that they can easily be purchased online. Someone mentioned that the shortage was due to Covid, but I have no trouble finding plastic cutlery on a wholesale website.

If you have just finished visiting Maker's Mark or Limestone distilleries on a Friday or Saturday, you absolutely must make this restaurant your next stop. Even if you are coming from elsewhere, it's worth taking a road trip here for dinner. If you live nearby, it's a mystery why you wouldn't be here every weekend. After spending a weekend on the bourbon trail, this restaurant was the highlight of our dining experience. We were craving some delicious southern comfort food and this place exceeded our expectations. Every dish we tried was so tasty that we insisted the rest of the table try it too. The portions were generous, the prices were excellent, and the food was amazing. From the entrées to the sides, everything was outstanding. And don't even get me started on the pie - it was so good that we had to take some extra pieces home for later. We ordered fried catfish, ribeye, country fried steak, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, baked tomatoes, green beans, creamed peas, french fries, cornbread, and hush puppies. Each of us thought we had the best dish, and we were envious of what everyone else was eating. The food was that good. The only thing that rivaled the amazing food was the exceptional service and friendly staff. Everyone made us feel like we were dining at a family member's house. It might be a while before we return to the bourbon trail, but I can already say that our first stop will be back at this restaurant, and we will plan everything else around it.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! The staff is exceptional and the food is fantastic. Don't miss out on the homemade ice cream - you won't be disappointed!

I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The steak was fantastic and I will definitely return in the future.
