Red Pillar Cafe - BRAESIDE

This place is always buzzing with people when I go past itSeems to be a real favorite amongst locals.

Well straight off the bat I have to admit I am partial to a pretentious breakfast ..

Of all the brunch places I've tried to date in Melbourne, pillar of salt is on my top favourite list in first place.

I have enjoyed a couple of visits to Red Pillar in the past month. On both occasions I was impressed with the range of tasty offerings and very good coffee. Located in an industrial area, this large café is very busy at lunch times. However, Red Pillar is well serviced with efficient staff, headed up by the delightful owner, Kath. Vegetarian offerings include a tasty felafel wrap. Very good quality mince tarts from a French bakery were enjoyed pre Christmas.

Really nice focaccias.. the smoked salmon one is really yummy as well as any of the main meals of the day. Staff really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
