Churrasqueira Angolana - Braga

Been here for a lunch and we were supposed to have prato do dia, but because there was a mix up, apparently the have two separate rooms (one for menu only service and the other for regulars and pratos do dia), we were told that in the room we were it was only menu service. We were about to change rooms when our waiter suggested a mixed grilled meats dish and sayd that it would be enough for all of us and at the end divided by all we would not pay more than we would for the prato do dia. We decided to saty and give it try and it was great, the food was delicious, the wine suggested by our waiter was also good and in the end our waiter was right, the food was more than enough and we did not pay more than if we had gone with the prato do dia.. Overall it was a good experience.

We came here twice this week and enjoyed the BBQ chicken with home made fries, lovely green salad and rice. As a starter you get fresh bread with butter, sardines pate and cheese along with some tasty small warm snacks. You can taste the freshness of the food that is made with love. The serving staff is amazingly friendly and they really try to make to feel comfortable.

We got a half-chicken and fries to go, which came to about six euros. I love Portuguese rotisserie chicken, and this was by far the best I've ever had: juicy, tender, flavourful. The servers were also extremely nice.
