Cowtown Beef Shack - Bragg Creek

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. On July 30th, our server added a 20% tip automatically without asking, essentially stealing from us. There was no mention of this at the reception, indicating she knew exactly what she was doing, and others seemed to agree. I reached out to the owner and was promised a response, but never heard back. If they’re looking to encourage this kind of dishonesty among their staff, this is the place for it. I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The food is amazing, but unfortunately, the same can't be said for the staff. They aren't very friendly and seem indifferent to doing their jobs well. We've ordered multiple times, and almost every order has had issues—incorrect drinks, missing sandwiches, and so on. Just today, we received two orders of mac and cheese that were missing the expected black specks. The food is great, but make sure to double-check your orders before they leave the kitchen!

We decided to have lunch in Bragg Creek, and the food was wonderful. However, I was disappointed with the lack of attention to gluten-free dining. I had to ask for clean gloves twice, which seemed to annoy the staff. I also doubt that the surfaces were properly cleaned. Since we were the only customers, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. I understand that they can't guarantee a completely gluten-free environment, but there was no visible effort to make it safe for those with dietary restrictions. If they are not committed to providing that care, they shouldn’t offer gluten-free options.

The young lady at the theke in Bragg-Kreek was rude. we did not receive the arrival. at the time there were no other customers in the restaurant. the behavior was absolutely annoying, because 6 of us noticed that and decided to go. according to my opinion, the good restaurants are the combination of good food and friendly staff. Never come back.

Awesome food and staff I will drive out of my way for their beef dip or cheese steak both are exceptional. They have a number of local beers as well to wash it all down. Highly recommend if you are in Bragg Creek to check this place out.
