Waffle House - Brandon

Thank goodness for the Waffle House! Did you know they’re the only restaurant that stays open during a hurricane? If they’re closed, you know you need to find shelter. You can even gauge the intensity of a storm by checking the menu. On September 29, 2022, it was an emergency menu during Hurricane Ian, which was limited but still very much appreciated. I wasn’t the only one without power. Thanks to the hardworking crew, they managed to serve food even under challenging conditions. A huge round of applause for the management and staff at the Lumsden Ave Waffle House! Thank you!

It was an emergency menu on 9\29\22, how Hurricane Ian boiled (which is limited but very appreciated). I wasn't the only one without power. My friend and I were there on the 28th before the hurricane. There were only 3 people who worked very hard to help everyone.... They were fantastic... very friendly despite the circumstances... The food was still amazing... The service was still excellent. I'll give this guy some props for what they did.

You lose an enormous amount of business by not allowing people to pick up and pick up. You make the same amount of money for people who order the takeover as you are on people who sit in your restaurant. You basically treat half of your customers as you do not give a darn about them
