Food was good could not complain. Every course came out quickly! The service was excellent. Our server was very nice and often checked for us. Great ambience and music. It wasn't packed on Saturday night. I don't mind going back.

We held my daughter's final dinner at this restaurant, making reservations in advance for our party of 23. From the start, the staff walked us through the dinner experience, which was great. We had five servers, some of whom were quite new and still learning the ropes. While there were a few minor hiccups with the food selections, management and seasoned team members quickly resolved them. Everyone ordered different dishes, and I can confidently say that everyone was pleased with their choices, including the taste and presentation. Would I return? Absolutely! I never would have thought to host my daughter's dinner here if it weren't for Wendy, an impressive employee who had made our experience memorable during a Sunday brunch. She suggested this restaurant for our family dinner, and I'm so glad she did. Thank you for making our evening unforgettable!

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff at De Soul Cafe, particularly Wendy, for the way they welcomed my family as we celebrated my mother/grandmother/aunt’s 68th birthday. Even though our visit was unexpected, Wendy went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The staff was incredibly professional and polite, and the food—wow! It was delicious and generously refilled. I could feel my mom smiling down from heaven as we gathered to eat, laughing, sharing our love for her, and enjoying each other's company. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the music selection was fantastic! I will definitely return! We started with the crab and catfish strips as appetizers, and for our main courses, we had the southern chicken and seafood combo, accompanied by macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and sweet potatoes. I was absolutely stuffed, but that didn’t stop me from ordering the peach basket for dessert!
